Join me on your journey to well-being! With years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, I specialize in treating a wide range of mental health concerns through in-person or teletherapy in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
My approach is client-centered, evidence-based, and empathetic, focused on building trust and exploring values to create a meaningful, vibrant life. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you overcome unhelpful thoughts and behaviors while incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when appropriate to address negative thinking patterns. Together, we’ll develop strategies for responding effectively to life's challenges and aligning your actions with your core values.
Before joining Rosewatter Chicagoland Counseling, I worked as a Forensic Psychologist and Drug Abuse Program Coordinator in the federal prison system. I am proud to have supervised over 80 predoctoral students during my career. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my wife and sons, roasting coffee beans, cooking, exercising, listening to classical music, and watching collegiate sports.
